Railway introduces digital lockers for passengers at Charbagh Station

Lucknow: To facilitate daily commuters and passengers in transit, Northern Railway has introduced digitally secure storage lockers at Charbagh railway station.

A total of 11 large and four extra-large lockers have been installed on platform number one.

"One can use the luggage locker facility by scanning the barcode for payment. One must specify the duration for which a locker would be required and remit payment accordingly," said Kuldeep Tiwari, senior divisional commercial manager, NR (Lucknow division).

The facility will soon be available at Prayag Junction, Prayagraj Sangam railway stations, Ayodhya Dham Junction and Varanasi Junction.
